Since 1958:

Nichol Industries began operation in 1958 when Barry and Trevor Nichol purchased a company called Barr Bros Engraving. In these early days marking consisted steel stamps and stencils both of which the brothers made by hand.

By the late 60’s marking machines were entering the market and Nichol manufactured some of its own equipment and began importing machines for around the world.

This process continues today with Nichol ensuring it offers the world’s best in laser marking, dot peen and impact stamping while also manufacturing custom equipment and consumables such as metal tags
